A substantially revamped version of NBA 2K11’s Jordan Challenges, in which players attempted to practically duplicate Jordan’s real-life exploits, is included in NBA 2K23. One of these was to score at least 38 points and pull down seven or more rebounds, just like Michael Jordan did in his famous “flu game” in June 1997, when he still put up large statistics and made the game-winning shot in the NBA Finals despite being unwell.
